Thanks for the warm welcome. I have questions, most of which allude me at the moment, but the primary one is that I am seriously wondering if I couldnt improve the look and comfort with may just a minimal layering right about now - just on top - not touching the length in back or the bottom sides.
I do NOT want a mullet! - :) - and I would definitely leave the bangs to grow so I can get them "tuckable". Any thoughts on this?
I can stick it out if I have to but I think it may help and not be a setback. Don't know for sure though. Thanks.
Peace,
Danny

No do not get it layered! Getting it cut in layers will just prolong the process of growing your hair out dude, so you will have to deal with it beign crazy and wild for even longer if you get it layered. Your best bet is to just stick it out, trust me, it wont take as long as you think.
I have to second this! Around Thanksgiving last year, I went and tried to get my hair layered, thinking it would make it "look better". Turned out to be a big mistake! After it was done, I just did not like how it turned out. All I could do was just go ahead and let my hair grow out. I've not had it cut since.
Just let it grow. In the end you'll be glad you did. I'd wish I've seen this forum before I went and did that - would've saved the trouble (and the friggan $40 that damn solon charged me as well!).
Like John Balucci used to say, "Well EXCUUUSE ME!" LMAO! I guess the class votes a NAY!. OK thanks. You guys have way more experience than I do. I'll tuff it out.
This site really great. I am so glad I came across it. Its just that I see so many, I must admit it: "girls" - with a look that I really like and ultimatley wnat to achieve. To me it's not effiminate at all - I have large masculine physique and will never be mistaken for a girl, so I have no fears there -- and they girls all look layered to me.
Does anyone think maybe well AFTER I get the lenght and fully grown out then, I'll be able to think about it again? That sound slike a years away at least - but I do grow fast.
BTW- I read that Vit C helps promotes growth if anyone is interested in that.
