OK, not a celeb for most people. I met Bruce Schneier, author of the Blowfish and Twofish encryption software, privacy advocate, and founder of CounterPane Security. He gave a talk regarding privacy in the age of increasing technology and surveilance.
If you do an image search on him, you may not see the hair since he has MPB, but it's there, trust me. Oh, and it's tomorrow now, so I actually met him yesterday.
Those of you who are getting grief in retail and banking, if you have any aptitude for computing at all, I highly recommend it. I haven't had much trouble over the years. Bruce is another answer to the question of "how can you succeed with that hair?".
Finally, I know it would be sensitive for those of you who are actually working at oppressive companies to reveal which companies they are; but perhaps we should start some sort of rating system for major companies. We're such a small minority that it wouldn't have a huge impact, but if it comes down to two otherwise equal players, I'd rather not deal with bullies--just for my own piece of mind.

He sound like a highly intelligent fellow. Goes to show if you really are bound and determined to have the long hair, that you just grow whatever you got to grow.
Yes a list would be good, but would probably prevent anyone from shopping or doing business with lots and lots of companies and entities.
Is this the fellow?
Yep.
