this most likely applies to people with curly hair hehe most guys in my area tend to wear head bands to keep their hair out of their eyes. i'm thinking about it but i think i would look sort of wierd =/ lol
anyway do/did any of you wear a headband during the awkward stage?
I wore a alice band at times
n/t
Although my hair is not curly, I wear a head-band whenever I feel like it. If others don't like it.........tough. Let them do their thing and I'll do mine.
They don't look weird to me at all.
I wanted to, but I couldn't find one of the thick ones - all I got were the very thin ones that look like greatly stretched ponytail ties. But yeah - practically every guy with awkward stage curly hair used a headband before the obligatory haircut.
I'd say go for it and try it out. If it doesn't look good, no worries - the awkward stage is supposed to be awkward, isn't it? :P
That's supposed to be "almost every guy in college". My bad.
Didn't use headbands, but I did wear a hat whenever possible.
How long is your hair drumdude? just it looks to Still be quite comfortably in the awkward stage. (judging from the avatar)
Mind you.. mine technically still is in the awkward stage.. still cant quite make the pony..
Nope, I'm a curly haired guy, and I didn't wear anything at all during my awkward stage. Just let it do it's own thing.
...perhaps I should have. I think they look nice, Guys who want to wear them should.
Definately, if you feel like it do it. I wasn't really advocating not doing what you felt like.
I just mean that for me it wasn't necesarry and I would've liked the look even less than I did my awkward-stage hair doing it's own thing.
Yes, a bandanna headband. The elasticated ones are too tight for my head.
i wear a bandana often with my hair pulled out the back i think it helps in the akward stage because after you've worn it for a few hours or so you can take it off and comb your hair out and it seems to have more control and form
