I dont understand what's with hair in western society? why can't they take the view of many Chinese, if it's not me it ain't my problem. I mean people get attacked for being gay or lesbian, people lose their job or are denied jobs for being longhair... I mean if they personally dislike long hair then is it their business if someone else likes them? I feel that the western society for some "moral" reason seems to like poking their noses into other people's business, While I dont agree with Confucism or anything like it, sometimes the indifference actually helps minotiry groups such as gays and lesbians or longhair men... I guess thats how it is in the business world, you know guys are more concerned with looks than actual work ability or performances. No wonder why alot of companies are moving to China... (where you frequently see businessmen with ponytails)
Yeah, society is pretty sad. Legislation is good though :)
Legislation is good only if undertaken with a calm, informed, unbiased, and determined mind. Anything less is a recipe for unmitigated disaster.
Yeah we have uptight policies on tons of things in the US. Funny thing to me as that most laws discriminating anything are condoned by the government. Especially our current government. (Don't get me started on the chimp in the White House) Seems that at one time in theis country, Republicas were much more hands off in governing, Remember smaller Govt. , less intrusion etc. Well the gang running this place are not doing those things that their party once stood for. As a culture we are still very uptight in general, and an extremist government, where rights are taken away not preserved. Wire taps!!!!! Jeeze wire taps on millions of regular inocent Americans should be a larger crime than staining a blue dress.
Want change in this country? Take it back!
I don't think I have ever seen a court decsion in the states do anything to help longhored guys. Both political parties are so much owned by big business, I'm sure if we tred to pass laws protecting hair on men, it would get shot down in Congress under pressure from the large corporations that ACTUALLY run this government.
