Hey what's a good conditioner/shampoo to use. I want something professional, I'm tired of Suave, VO5, and the other cheap stuff. Any suggestions?
Later
Aveda Shampure. Good for all hair types and isn't too heavy. No petrochemicals either.
Hey thanks man, where would that be? Walgreens? Riteaid mabe? Any particular kind of that brand? Is that conditioner/shampoo in one, thanks again!

Just so you know, 2-in-one shampoo/conditioners are no good. Shampoo strips the hair of its natural oils, and conditioner artificially restores them (well, it remoisturizes the hair, and stuff along those lines), so a 2-in-one effectively does both at once, leaving you with a nothing effect. It's best to buy an individual shampoo and an individual conditioner.
Suave and VO5 can be very good products (well, I've only used their conditioners, but hey), especially if you have curly hair. Their natural line of products doesn't contain silicones, which can cause some nasty buildup in your hair. And just because something is a famous brand doesn't mean it won't give you infamous results. In short, don't get suckered into the lure for more "professional" products simply because they're more expensive/well-known.
I use sunsilk wonder curls shampoo.
For conditioner it is mainly Gfructis line of conditioner.
Pantene sucks.
My wife and I both use Herbal Essence. I got my hair trimmed today, and asked the woman, and she said that's a good one to use. There's only a couple she recommends NOT using, but she couldn't remember them.
No NOT use Nioxin. It's supposed to strengthen hair....all it did was make me shed like a husky, and it's taking forever for the thin spots to grow in.
Ever try any of the products put out by Aussie? For myself they work best of all. Just click on my pic and you will see the results.
Please remember however that everyone is different and a product that works-out well for one may be a disaster for another. Just keep trying and experimenting and eventually you will find what works best for yourself.
Best of luck to you.
I really get great results from Pantene's "smoothe and sleek" conditioner. I love it. Also, I use a product called BIOGENOL RECONDITIONER, by Framesi. I have really curly hair. This product by the directions says to wash out. However, my hairs so curly that my hairdresser says I can leave it in. It totally changes the texture of my hair. I place this in my hair before another product I use, a gel, called TRESEMME SMOOTHE Gel. With all this going on, people approach me all the time and say "Wow, your hair is really curly and never frizzy." And I say, "Yeah, yeah, I know."
Hey thank you all for your suggestions. I ended up getting Aveda and so far it's been awe-some!! Thanks again, my buddy has curley hair so I'll have him try that one, thanks!
