Hi,
I started growing my hair since December 05, my last haircut----which was a crewcut.
I'd say my hair is at about 3 in. now...(not much but it's the longest i've had it in my life and it feels cool)
How long would it take for it to grow out long enough for it to look like Tom Cruise from M:I:2?
Approximately how long is Cruise's hair in the movie?
My ultimate goal is to grow it out into ponytail length...but i just wanted to try out the Cruise look for awhile before grwoing it longer.

Tom cruise's hair length changes a lot in every movie he starred in... for example, the longhair (not too long really) Cruise like The Last Samurai, MI-II, things like that, they are just about collar length, takes about a year for most people to reach that.... more if its very curly. Most movies like Rainmen, MI-3, Mission Impossible he has short hairs....
my hair is mostly straight, sometimes wavy....
I won't take any trims so i can do whatever i want with it when the time comes(year or 2).

lol, i don't mind his hair in the last samurai, it's pretty cool and longish style, i just laught when i hear the name Tom Cruise, hehehehe. I think he's a bit of a flip nowadays.
Hey Gio, you're getting it backwards mate...
Grow your hair out to this 'Cruise length', and then if you want to go shorter, cut it down from there.
