Hi everyone,
I'm still in my awkward stage but luckily there are more & more good hair days :-)
I've got a collection of different hats and caps in the meantime, which really help a lot. Especially stormy days are hard to bear without a cap with all these hairs in my eyes...

You're hair is looking cooler and cooler in every post and you've started to go with center partings more which looks good. You're hair will look fantastic with more length and I too hope for more good hair days for you in the future.
Keep on growing and you're continued perserverence and sound hair regime will get you where you want to be in the end.

Actually I'm unsure if my 'regime' is really sound as I'm still learning how to deal best with my longer hair on a daily basis: sometimes it works, and other times I just wear a cap :-) But now in summer, I tend to sweat quite a lot under a cap, this doesn't feel to good, so it feels best without a cap. Sort of a dilemma I'n in right now. Hope this gets better though.

When i first posted on this board my hair was about where yours is now. Then next 6 months will fly by for you and the longer it gets the more you will love it. You will see the difference weekly.

well for me, who never had it longer than 1 1/2 to 2 inches, it's already really long now at about 4 1/2 inches. and more to come...

Looks pretty damn good, especially considering you're in the awkward phase. It'll only look better as it gets longer, just take good care of it.
Hi Alex, you're making good progress and i can see visible length now. You have a very classy, sophisticated, 'muso' look and long hair is only going to compliment it even more. Keep at it and take good care of your hair, it will be so great at the 2 year mark. The user "Hans Uwe" is also from Germany. Are there many longhairs in Germany?
BTW, excellent website. Your persistence and hard work will pay off in the end, keep it growing.
Actually not. Most guys have short hair , the "in"-people have that 'Beckham-style' haircut (http://www.aland.co.uk/videos/collections/everyday_mens/everyday_mens_mark.htm) . Among musicians it's quite different, many of them do have long hair indeed.

nice to meet another guy from Germany. I think your growth is a good beginning for your longhair journey. And these hats/caps as seen in your gallery suit you well.
But I think your reply to 80s_metal is not exactly correct - at least in the big cities ( I live in one) you can see many longhaired guys. like the members on this board most of them are younger, at age (about) 15-27... but sometimes (like the veterans here) you can also see long hair on older guys.
