One of my longhair friends recently got his hair cut. It was beautiful. Sholder length naturaly black straight shiny hair. Now it is cut to where it is about a mid-ear length. He made a bet with me that he could have longer hair than me in 9 months. We dont have jobs so it's only 5 bucks. I told him he was crazy. He said his hair grows fast. I told him that doesn't matter unless you stay away from scissors hehehe. Anyway I'll let you guys know who the winner is. There's a link to a picture that's close to his style now. Yeah, I have a friend like that. His hair wasn't as long as mine yet, but he cut it because his parents were coming from India or something. Doesn't matter. Anyway, he said he will grow it again. I told him I've been growing it for over a year and he was surprised and said it will take him like 6 months to get to where I am now. Maybe they are just blessed? Or maybe they just forgot how long it really took?
hmmm, i tend to think the latter. It is denial. They are upset they cut their hair but they just keep saying that to shrug it off in front of others. Some people have very fast growth rates but it is a rarity. More than likely they have forgotten how long it actually took to grow. Don't worry, once they go through the awkward stage again, then they will release "why did i cut ?!".
