Hello everyone! I was talking to a friend of mine a few nights ago about my long hair..its about to my shoulders now...she was talking about putting my hair in pigtails..which I am totally cool with. My question is..i recently bought a cowboy hat..do u think a cowboy hat and pigtails would look too..androgyneous? Im sorry i dont have a pic to give u all a frame of reference..ive been told im a very good looking guy but I also have been told i have some effeminete features. Just curious what people's opinions are! Thank u!

I think it'd look cool, actually, but braided pigtails would be ideal. They would look more natural under the hat if you ask me, and perhaps less cowgirl-ish than normal pigtails, lol. The braid adds a degree of "masculinity" to the look, if femininity is your concern; think Native Americans and various metal band members.
However, androgyny is a fine thing, and indeed something revered in many cultures (including those same Native Americans), so wear your pigtails however you choose to with pride. Besides, who cares what anyone else thinks of you?

Like I said..I do kind of lean towards the androygenous..in a very wholesome kind of way..if that makes any sense...lol...The pigtails and cowboy hat might be a look i could really get into. Not an easy question to anser without seeing a pic. I think you'll know how you look yourself if you look at a pic or in the mirror. Trust your own judgement.
