Just saw Willie Nelson (again) on Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show", and his braids are almost waist-length. He's 66- I'm 62 and having trouble keeping looking shoulder length.
Are the braids add-ons?
Or is he one of the few for whom additional years do not translate into shorter terminal length/hair-in-general?
Forgive me my envy!
Yeah I just saw that too, his hair was lookin pretty nice.

Hi Dick, I am reasonably sure that Willie Nelson's braids are real. Some people have hair that does not get shorter with age.
To get your hair to grow longer, you might try taking a high potency vitamin supplement. MSM is also a helpful supplement.
At 53 years old, I am one the oldest here, and yet, among those with the longest hair as well. As the photo shows, my hair is 2 or 3 inches shy of knee length. I take a tremendous amount of supplements, and I feel this is the reason my hair has done so well.
Absalom
I'm wondering if it also could be that in younger years your hair would have reached your ankles given the chance. Maybe almost knee length is your individual version of 'shorter with age'.

Actually, he was born in 1933 so that makes him 73!
