Hey guys... i remember when my hair was around shoulder length i had people coming up to me left and right saying i should get a haircut....... now 2 years later my hair is mid back i hardly have anyone coming up to me saying i should cut it.... and if they do they say it in a joking way... dunno how anyone else feels about it... someone just mentioned it down a few posts.

You have great-looking hair and some nice waves too. It gives me an idea of what my hair will look like a couple years from now. I think once your hair has been growing out for a really long time and reaches beyond shoulder-length, then people usually stop throwing out insults. However, it's a little pathetic that it takes them so long to accept it.
That is truly enviable length and thickness and the colour is just perfect as if I was to have a different hair colour other than blond, brown would be my choice. It's awesome that you don't have people heckling you now or throwing insults. Probably because they realise that they can't force you into their narrow minded views of how they view guys should have their hair.
Anyone who does say anything is probably just jealous of you're long locks anyway, so just go about doing you're own thing and enjoy it every step of the way.

I like the substantial length and the mix of blondes and browns throughout.
I think the whole philosophy behind hair length and reactions from others is that with more length people might respect you more. The longer one's hair is, shows a sign of greater power and dominance. If someone has shoulder length hair they might get discriminated or receive negative comments more than someone with waist length hair.
Mitch, your hair has grown a lot. It looks great. Keep growing it.
