I decided a couple of days ago to let my facial hair grow a bit to see if it suits me. I kinda like it but a girlfriend says I suit clean shaven better. What do you guys think? Here's a before and after pic.
I can say that the goatee looks very cool and suits you wonderful! :)

you'll look good no matter what, but I personally like the look WITH goatee on your face better. It both complEments and complIments your face and your hair as you are gaining serious length. I'd grow and keep it.

DEF goatee man, suits yer face better. Let it grow a couple inches, I'd bet you "anything" she'd like it when it tickles those "intimate" places ;-)
I think lots of girls just plain prefer clean shaven men. I am a girl and I do, HOWEVER, in your case, I have to agree with the consensus - that goatee really does look good on you and I think you should keep it for a while.
An ex of mine let his facial hair grow over a holiday from his work one time, and when it came to shaving to go back to his job we experimented with goatee and pointy sideburns and it was pretty cool. He kept it for a couple of years despite his mum going on and on at him to shave it off, lol. The good thing is that generally speaking if and when you do go back to being clean-shaven, you'll knock years off your appearance. It's a win/win situation!
