My hair is growing from July '05.
Mu hair is now ~8.5 inches long.

Your hair looks great. In maybe 6 months it will all fit in a high ponytail. The distance from your front hairline to the base of your head (low ponytail position) is typically 33 centimeters. Once your bangs (front hair) reach 35cm it will all stay in a low ponytail securely.
