Hiya, I've posted before about growth, growing my hair out while living in South Korea and other topics. I think I last posted a picture in March.
Tonight after coming home from the beach I figured I'd give the tail another try and see if I can fit it all in. You see the result.
It's about an inch higher than I prefer, and a little tighter than I'd feel comfortable with wearing all day, but I am pleased that I am so close to achieving this objective.
February 2005 my hair was about 2 inches long all over. I've had a couple of minor hair cuts between then and now.
I think this phase of my growth will still take 4 more months at which point I will assess where I am going with it from there. I also hope to lose about 8 kg (17 pounds). Wish me luck!
Actually, all is looking very good, especially at the stage you are presently at. I would think 6 months (3") more should do the trick quite well.
I want to get in first here and say I think a high pony tail is totally groovy. To me it's a sure fire way of recognising that a guy is serious (for want of a better word) about having long hair, rather than someone who just hasn't gotten round to having a haircut for a while. Also, I just plain think it looks good! Some folk seem to think that you have to wear the tail at the base of the neck for it to be acceptable but I say tie it high!! Maybe that's why I love the half pony look even more - you should try that out too! Looking great, hope you keep growing it.
P.S. Good luck with the weight loss too - although you're certainly not carrying weight on your face judging by that pic!
That my friend, is my current goal! Once my hair is that long then I will decide what to do with it!
Congratulations on growing it that long! I think I am like 3 to 5 months away from having my hair that long! Cant wait till its finally long to do that!
Looks fantastic Revan! Great length, seems like you could do a tail lower but I guess you would have less to the tail itself that way. Can't wait til I get that length, great progress man!
The halvway tail looks nice on you and will look even better after a couple of months or so. I have about the same problem right now keeping it very stretch to fit it all in the tie. When not out in public I usually keep it loose not to stress it too much. Good luck with the weightloss also allthough I wouldn't consider you overweightened judgying by the picture.
About the weight loss, what is particularly driving me to lose the fat is that I compete, or rather I have competed in a sport with weight classes. Right now I am weighing 74 kg (163 pounds) and my %bodyfat is above average (trust me, its on my torso). 4 years ago when in excellent shape I weighed 60 kg (132 pounds) and was very lean. I'd like to weigh no more than 66 kg because that is the upper limit of the next lowest weight class.
Sorry for this non-hair related explanation - just don't want people to think I have an irrational body image.
