new here.. well ive decided to grow my hair out, longest goal i reached was 9 months, regretted cutting it! want to get past the awkward stage this time so i know cutting my hair will feel good for a few weeks then ill wish i never cut it so im feeling like ill achieve it this time =) im at 4 months now.. i always cutmy hair in summer everytime ive tried to grow it out! Ive found summer is the hardest part when growing hair, winter is a time when i never have the urge to cut my hair at all so if i grin and bear this summer.. i think ill do good =) anyways this summer im at 4 months and i shud be at 8-9 months when the weather is gone so by next summer, my hair should be long
this post is to just introduce myself anyways, im 21, my hair is very straight, dark brown and im also a painter and decorator =) Hi to everyone on this board, hope i can help others too through the growing progress and enjoy it with you all =) also every month ill be typing up a progress report about my hair length but its for my own benefit to be honest so i can go back to the previous month's post and see what i typed about my hair =P hope this won't bother anyone! I could do this in a diary but id rather do it on here for a few reasons, scared my parents may find my diary or somethin =P
anyway im at 4 months now (Wednesday 7th 2006) the side of my hair covers my ears about half a cm and my frigne bangs neeeaaarly touch eyebrows lol will post a smaller progress report next month ^.^
Welcome to the board, Ajay! Wish you best of luck in growing your hair out. I always get disappointed when I see guys with poker-straight hair who want to keep it at a short or sort of shaggy length. It's good to know you're growing it out, and you shouldn't have too much of an awkward stage. Lucky! :)
Hi Ajay,
Good luck growing out. I just want to say that documenting your progress is a brilliant idea. It's a great way to keep yourself motivated towards growing long hair, as often its difficult to see the day to day progress you are making, however when you look back over months... well... wow! You see how far you've come.
One thing to say is that you'll really need your own web site or Blog to keep this journal in as this site is pretty busy and each month, old posts fall off the bottom of the page. (They are available in the archive, but are tricky to find or review with any ease.)
I rememebr the site =) that was the best inspiration for me! i rememebr i started growing my hair out with your progress pictures but i see their not up anymore =( i wish they were, i seen the site about 2 uears ago i think, maybe more =D my friend linked it to me
That was a great site Sorted, I do believe it was probably the first longhair site I found when I started researching the topic. Got me off to a great start and encouraged me to look further until I found this board. Thanks!
