Hi guys,
My hair routine :
Every 4-6 days
Conditioner - Shampoo - Conditioner,
I use cheap, but of decent quality, herbal shampoo sold locally, but for
conditioner I went into Dove. Works nice.
exchangeable with :
Conditioner only
Sometimes I add wash in diluted
apple cider vinegar.
Everyday :
I comb it with wide toothed comb or my fingers,
altough mine curls don't tangle a lot. They have its own life,
but are almost obedient. Sometimes are frizzy. But I like
my baroque locks :)
Everyday :
Pack of old Metallica, Tvangeste and Lacrimosa tracks.
It may not make grow your hair faster, but waiting for it
becomes nicer.
Unlikely other longhairs I got dandruff / itch
when my hair reached 12". When shorthaired, I had no problems with
these %^$^ flakes. I tried almost everything ( hopefully except cutting off),
from anti - danfruff shampoos ( bull ), Nizoral
( works, but only for a couple of weeks and isn't most hair friendly) ,
generic shampoo with Ketoconasol, ( same effect as Nizoral )
and was just about to rub my scalp off with my hands, when came across
MLHH and read about vinegar. Wow, it works !!!
Temporary braid made with one's own hair, without an elastic.
it is stable for some time, but I am afraid, non-curlies may encounter
some problems here :)
Cheers, Adalbert
Your hair is superb! Absolutely FANTASTIC.
I also noticed 'wojtek' in your image URLs. That wouldn't happen to be Polish would it?
Matt
It would be fantastic if it were 40 inches long :-)
You are right, I'm from Poland. It's my real name, but, according to my previous experience with foreigners, my name is un-readable and any non-Slavic people make errors ;) So,I decided to use Latin transcription of it at that board.
Wow, cool hair! Giant-fine. Cool grey eyes too!
Thanks for posting all the way from Poland.
See ya later, Bragi
WOW man, you're killing me. That is some awesome looking curls you have. Your hair care routine is definitely working because your locks are very healthy and in good condition.
I like the ponytail because you haven't slicked it back. IMO, curly hair looks better in a ponytail when it is just placed in it naturally, no brushing/slicking etc. It gives it a more natural look. Of course, you need atleast 12-14 inches of hair to pull it off :(
So yeah, love the ponytail and the hair is looking superb.
You seem to know alot about hair care stuff, looks like your lurking has payed off :P
Your avator doesn't do your hair any justice. It is too small and is very blurry. Maybe time for an avator update aye?
How long have you been growing? 2 years?
Well, i sure hope you start posting more often, we need more 'curly heads' on this board. There aren't enough of us.
Stop kidding man. That unkindy mess of hair I'm sometimes ashamed off, looks awesome ? Maybe not always :)
They are 15 inches long, and pony works nice for me, but I
prefer them loose. I wear a pony sometimes, when have no time to
neat them.
Thanks to MLHH, and _yours_ posts :). Well done.
Next - obserwation of many Ukrainian women with _awesome_ long
hair ( unfortunately usually straight) who wash them in water , soap and vinegar. If it works for them, why not give it a try ?
I always had longish hair (around ears), in mid 2002
decided to grow them out, but kept them till 2005
lenght around neck. Now I want them longer and longer.
I've noticed that.
I have no time ( like anybody else ) - I posted my pics three days agoand try to answer now
Does vinegar really get rid of dandruff?
I have to try that! How do you use it?
Do you just put it into your hair after shampoo or something?
Yes, as written before, tried to use meds with Ketoconasol, and they worked only for a couple of weeks. I have extremely delicate skin (and assumming, scalp also) so shampoo may cause irritations and dandruff. Vinegar balances skin pH and is more natural.
My wash :
1. Wet and wash hair in running _cool_ water
2. Add small amount of conditioner.
3. Wash it out, and :
3.1 shampoo hair if shampoo routine
3.2 Condition if CO only
4. Wash again
5. Add diluted apple cider vinegar - I dilute it in an ordinary cup of 250 mls, pour a 1-1.5 centimetre - of vinegar ( 0.4 - 0.6 inch ) anf fill with water ( ratio 1 to 8-10 ) I put it on my head, rubbing hair and massaging skin like with a shampoo.
6. wash again with cool water
Seems to be complicated, but is simple. Sometimes I condition not at point 3, but before 6. . I have no idea if it is better to condition first and wash in vinegar, or wash in vinegar and conition after. IMO ,it doesn't matter.
And I don't smell like salad after :-P
Have a nice day, Adalbert
WOW!!! Nice hair man! I wish mine was that curly, you really make me jealous :P Mine is somewhere in between wavy and curly, and grows really slowly. It's only gotten 5 inches longer in the last year :( Oh well, I'm still growing none the less.
Keep your routine up, it obviously works. You're an inspiratioin to all of us curly (or semi-curly) heads.
Keep it growing!
Baroque locks. I like that. :P
I also like your hair. The waves are loose but thick; there's an oceanic quality to them, somehow. You have the look of a painter that surfs, or vice versa. Don't ask, lol. These things just come to me and don't explain themselves very well.
I like the ponytail! I've always wanted to try tying my hair with, well, my own hair. It looks good on you.
I got the impression that your hair was a tad bit dry, though, or perhaps it was just the light in the pics?
Other than that, keep up the great work!
It seems that your scalp reacts like mine. When short haired I don't have any problems with dandruf, itching, or flakes, but when it gets long... Oh! For The %¨$%%$**#@ "flakes", try Kèrastase anti-dandruf. It has made miracles with my hair. You can buy at beauty parlors. Good luck.
Man, that is some incredible hair you have! I do love the curls, just curly enough to add character to your hair but not so curly you had to wait a really long time for length to show. Fantastic is the word.
Your hair looks great. Nice curls. You might want to change your avatar. Your hair looks much nicer now than in the current avatar photo. Just a thought. Keep it growing.
Absalom
Man that is amazing hair, looks absolutely fantastic.
Hi Adalbert,
you got phantastic hair, and the curls look great! Thanks for posting these pictures - may it grow on forever!
One off-topic remark: I noticed that you host your pictures on a Polish server, and that you are interested in maritime and swamp ecology - and you even have linked to a German environmentalist site dealing with sharks - fascinating! Are you close to the Baltic sea? Then we might even be "coastal" neighbors, because I live north of Berlin, not too far away from the coast myself.
Lepsze życzenia (Best wishes)
Hans-Uwe
I plan to.
Yes, an association of Aquarists and Terrarists ,I am a member of it.

I live in _exact_ center of Poland ;)
We've been to Berlin Zoo and Aquarium.I am going to
translate that page into English, but have no time ;)
Herzliche Gruben (Best Wishes)
Adalbert
Amazing hair, man. The curls look great. I can only imaging what it looks like under windy conditions. lol Keep up the routine!
I like smoke and lightning
Heavy Metal thunder
Racing with wind
And the feeling that I'm under
From Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild"
Yeah, I like looking out of the window in a running train,
or standing on the top of a mountain ( any hikers and travellers here ? ) and the feeling of wind playing with my hair, and even bear up neating up a mess of hair after ;)
