hey!
I was just posting to ask for some ugrent advice I'm having a trim tomorrow, my hair was grown out from a buzz cut so my hair around the sides is shorter than on top finally both my layers are about the same length to be trimmed, (2 years next month :-)) but I was just wondering how I should go about asking; how do you think I should go about asking having the layers cut out but as little taken off as possible so that my hair all the way round is the same length?
Thanks!!!! I will post pics the next day :)
personally id take the fringe bangs, and ask them to level the sides so that they are the same length as the fringe bangs as i think that is what your after... but be harsh with them... you have too otherwise they may try to do what they want... or find a pic of the hairstyle you like, print it out and take it with you.... just explain as much as you can is the best option and taking a pic if you can find one =)
Hi Slayer,
you could decide not to trim at all, as your hair would even out over time. If you want it all to be cut to one length, just show them a line around your shoulders and tell them that no cutting tools should go higher than that line, and make sure that they stick to that rule. Important: Check with other long-haired males who have been to that salon.
One alternative would be to put all your hair into a pony tail and to put, say, 20-30 rubber bands on that pony tail. Then you just cut off the ends that peek out from the lowest rubber band.
Let us know how it turned out.
Good luck!

If I were you I would cancel this trim. Just let your hair continue to grow and it has a way in the end of looking fabulous.
Those that go for these trims make growing out of the hair take much longer, and in many a case a "trim" ruins them for a long time considering who trimmed it.
