Here are progress for June and the hair is roughly 27 cm, although I did not measure it very well. I remember I decided to grow the hair 9 months ago and I think my hair was over my eyes already. It's hard to tell when it was from zero as I never had it fully shaven, but I think 20 months would be a good approximate number (?)
My hair is rather different in location; the right part rarely gets in the view and the left part can cover entire face. It can not be seen clearly in the picture, but it is also probably "causing" a more noticeable hair crown. If I had a choice, I would choose a more symmetrical scalp line which would be exactly in the middle (many people have it). I like it anyway though.
The comments are somewhat mixed. I noticed the hair acts as a bad people detector. A nice person never says anything rude. That is all I can really say about comments.
My goal is at least waist length and that is for sure, no matter what. Hair isn't too thin (or anything) for that, I hope? ;-)
And one more thing. I was a bit unsure about posting pictures, as there were occasions when pics were leaked, posted in other places and made fun of. Ok, anyway. These are web camera pics, and they are in one image in the link below. Btw, there are two shots without brushed hair, but I rarely brush it anyway. :-)

It seems to have the same texture as my hair (i.e. gorgeous texture :P), and it's just a tad longer (nothing that a couple of months of growing shouldn't fix mind you). Good luck on letting your hair grow to your waist! It's going to take long time so try not to think about it to much, or it will seem like forever. Thinking to much about this sort of stuff will likely drive you mad..

you got great hair, and it looks phantastic! Just grow it a LOT longer, it'll even out by itself. You can try to move the parting line to the middle bit by bit, it'll be less hard on your scalp if you do it gradually.

I like your comment on long hair being a "bad people detector", you easily detect personality imbalances and petty issues in a lot of people ;-) However, I found people are less willing to broadcast their prejudices as I get older - instead, it seems that some younger people start getting worried about what I might think of them - lol :-)
May your hair grow all the way from Tallin to Helsinki (where it'll catch up with Jarkko's waist-long hair ;-)

I really like the color and length of your hair Wolf, looks really nice so far. Glad you posted the pics despite the potentail for abuse of the pics. Why let some ignorant people (who might do something with your pics) stop you from showing off your hair to those of us who definitely do appreciate the work you put into it :) Wish more people felt comfortable doing that too.

I'll try that Hans-Uwe, but I've got a question. Will the scalp really change in shape (maybe just a little) after gradual parting, or will it always come one way, to the initial place?

there is a pretty good chance that your hair line / your scalp will adapt somewhat, but, of course, I don't guarantee it... My scalp did respond the way I wanted, but that was years ago.
