Ok, so heres the deal, I have been growing my bangs out for 1 year now...the rest I have always kept short, the back, and sides, and the top, my last haircut was March 28th 2006. so It's been 3 months since my last hair cut, and here is my progress so far feedback needed :)
Looking good!
During those periods of annoyances and "awkward" phases just don't look in the mirror, get busy with other things and let time work its wonders.
It's all good in the long run - keep it growing!

Yeah, it's been my experience that other people don't seem to notice your bad hair as much as you do.
I suggest a large roundbrush (I'll check and see if I can find a pic I can post of one...it is round with bristles all the way around), and a blow dryer on cool/warm setting.
I also have wavy-curly hair and have to deal with several things my hair does that I don't like if it's above shoulder length.
Of course, when my hair was that length there were no blow dryers that offered the different heat settings (or I just didn't look for them). I used hot, which was very drying and damaging long term for my hair.
Blow dry the front/sides of your hair while brushing it through the round brush. Pull the hair through going slightly forward, and downward, turning the brush as you go. It doesn't curl the hair as you would think. It will actually pull the flips out, and train it to go in the direction you want it.
This should help you to enjoy your hair as it reaches more length.
Do you plan to keep it all above the shoulders, or are you trying to get it all one length? If you plan to grow long, I would stop cutting the back/sides. The hair at the front tends to grow faster than the hair in the back. I'd let it all grow until you reach the length you want with trims every 6 months of 1/2". It will even out.
Hi
Logan
You growing it all hair or just your fringe??? I seen your Update pictures of just your long fringe looks good for three months growth at the sides & back you sure have gone though your different haircuts just like Jason as in the past I think you will look great with longer hair at least to your shoulders that will take about another year if you want to carry on growing !
Good luck what you decide on
Axel
yeah so i really like your hair. i'd say let it get a little longer and then keep it that length. :] later.
