Here in an update with some pics.
I don't think i will be posting up pics as frequently anymore, due to some bad experiences with the buzzboard stealing my pictures and for privacy reasons.
I'm flat out with examinations at the moment but next week i will have finished them all and then i'm on a break, yay!
I have some illnesses in the family at the moment, so it has been pretty stressful the last few months.
Glad to get over that whole dictatorial employer ordeal, will need to find a new job soon enough.
Hair is a real annoyance to air dry during the winter months. I usually have to wrap my hair in a towel, otherwise it can literally take hours.
My curls are in pretty good condition and it looks it's best while wet. I think i can demonstrate real length easier when my hair is wet and the curls are loose.

I love this pic, shows off the length of my curls. Notice the intentional head-tilt. I think everyone is guilty of head tilting, to make their hair appear longer, lol.

You're getting some pretty good length there, especially with all those curls. If it looks like that wet, it must look really great when it's dry!
Host your own on a server that you can control or on a trusted friend's server. That way you can control access and take an image donw quickly if need be.
Sorry to hear that. It's certainly something you didn't need after all the garbage at work.
I have to do that every time I wash mine. I think the record drying time in free air was over six hours. It was worse in the winter because it could (and did) freeze in the cold.

maybe there`s a possibility we can arrange a yahoo group or such kind of system to protect the pics ...
on the other side you should simply ignore the comments to your pics from the buzzboard users - it's only internet and everyone who knows you more personally know that it is not real !!

Seriously, it is coming along, and starting to look very long and cool. It won't be too long before dry length will look long too. I suppose all the stressing you have done over your hair quality is now paying off. I can learn something from that maybe for this next round. I sure hope you do well on all the exams. It's good too that you are going to find another job. There have got to be lots of places to work in a city as big as yours. If you're out and about and see a guy with long hair, just ask him what he does for a living. I thought about doing that the other day for some reason.

Hey 80's_Metal, your hair looks great now at 20 months and should look awesome at 30 months. Curly hair is, by far, the most difficult to grow long, and takes the most patience. It is good to see, despite all the adversity that you have endured, you have continued to grow it. As your hair gets longer, things should become easier, as gravity will help to reduce the frizz.
Your third photo shows the quality of your hair best to me.

your hair has some really nice length to it =) i only wish mine were as loose as yours lol if you're still dealing with it being a bit frizzy (i think you mentioned that before) then here's a product a friend recommended:
Sedal - Cream Balance
it'll keep your hair soft, shiny, and curly and it should also help prevent frizz. i haven't tried it yet, but considering her hair is also naturally curly and it looks beautiful i thought i would pass the info along to you. maybe somebody you know has used it.
BTW i think the main problem is that Curt person on the Buzzboard. most of his posts (if not all of them) are pretty much prejudice. i think he does it just because it's the net and he knows that he doesnt have to "deal with" any of the people he bashes on a regular basis.
You have worked so hard for what you have..........and it sure is paying off.

It was probably smart to leave that employer, because there are always other employers who will respect the law. You were within your rights, but with your move, you got rid of that stress so that you can focus on things that are really important for you.
Good luck with your exams, and have a nice winter! It's getting warm here with temperatures around 30°C (86°F) during the day, and no-one has air conditioning around here...

I don't want to bore you with further superlatives, so I'll keep it to one adjective I think.
Suffice to say that your hair is definitely 'getting there'.
And like you yourself said in a previous post, who knows how your hair will turn out (e.g. will is stay curly etc.).
Don't worry about the head tilt by the way, we're all guilty of it at times (it defines 'guilty pleasure' in fact!).
And don't stress about the exams, (smile next time :) as I'm way more stressed than you.
Can you only imagine how you'll look in 6 months or a year, or 5 years etc!

awesome curls 80's..your hair is certainly getting there..if your having problems with frizz..try airdrying your hair outdoors...it works for me..when I airdry indoors I have some incredible frizz LOL!

I like the last 2 pics of you the best. They have a combined softness and rockstar-ness to them all at once, and your suits you particularly well in them to me. The top has a nice straightness to it, and the curls at the back are healthy-looking. An overall healthy-looking head o' hair, one to be proud of.
My concern is the apparent dryness in the top layers of your hair in the second pic from the top. Is it just the camera, or did you just towel-dry it, or what? It's just such a change from the other pics.
Other than that, you're definitely getting there. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that your length when wet is very similar to mine. I'd thought you were far ahead of me. :P
Keep up the great work. I can only imagine how awesome it'll be when you post these same pics at mid-back length instead. :) You'll be there in no time, so just hang in there. I'm hoping the same's true for me.

You have a nice length now mate! Did you have long hair in the past? I'm just wondering, coz I understand you are into metal. In saying that, metal has always been my first love in music, especially NWOBHM (Maiden are my heroes! - I'll never forget bumping into Adrian Smith at Stonehenge - got some cool fotos with him and his family!)- yet I have only decided to grow my hair since last year.
