Well I am a quarter of the way through my first goal of two years, yipeee! I'm really enjoying every day, three more chunks to go!!

Very good decision to grow your beard long.
Now that you have the thick facial hair, all you need is the hair on top to catch up!
It's getting there bit by bit, hang in there.
I agree fully with 80's here.
Your hair is really starting to come along and I like how you've split time into little achievements-It really is a great attitude to have when growing out your hair.
Keep it up, when all is said and done you're going to be a great example of how long hair can enhance a mans appearance.
Thanks Deano, I do believe the look is better suited to me than the old skin'ead look, and hopefully it can get better - although a few have made 'jesus' comments, but thats because I'm gaunt and have a beard, not because I wear a loincloth!!
Looks like you're entering a stage called the Biblical phase.
While my hair and beard were within a certain length I've gotten the 'Jesus' comments (all in a positive way).

The longer it gets, the more it seems to suit you - the better it looks.
I totally agree with the below posts in that the growing of the beard goes really, really well with it to.
You do seem to have slow growing hair - that must be frustrating!?
-note to others nuttidave does have short hair for 6 months of growth, but you can see the monthly improvements from the progress pictures. I only accuse people of being liars when i am 110% certain. :)

You mentioned you had long hair before dave, how long did it get and how long did it take to grow?
- considerign you are just about entering the awkward stage now, you are lucky in that it suits you very well.
I had it mid back Sambo, then a young lady at the hairdressers decided that I might look better with a mullet and ruined it, so off it went!
I can tell that long hair is really going to suit you nicely. The beard is killer man. I would kill for facial hair that looked that cool. =)

Growing great Dave, you definitely have a very cool look going now with the facial hair too! Glad you are enjoying the trip! Six months is a big milestone, IMO. Congratulations are in order :)
