There seems to be a lot of people who have shaved head for girls... I have one suggestion, why not tell the girl to shave her head for you? I mean say you like girls with buzzed head like those marine movies (such as Starship Trooper) and stuff like that... I bet they won't do it. Just to show why it's stupid to shave head over a girl...

Please be more specific, are they people around you? are they media celebrities? Popular singers?
There are girls (or guys) that are manipulative and after saying they like your hair, all of a sudden say, "It is time for a change, you should cut your hair". They might say "I am tired of seeing that same bloody damned hair on you", or something to that effect.
If somebody I am in a relationship suddenly makes an about face about my hair after having liked it for so long, I consider it treason, and a valid reason to dump him or her.
It seems that people at my age (47), are a bit more stable and accepting, than say when I was in my twenties, when I have encountered people who read me the riot act for not changing my looks and sticking to the "same tired long haired" look for so long. I am now 27 years into my long-haired journey, and I am still not tired of it.
I do make it clear in a relationship, that my hair is something that doesn't change. I will change clothing, or other things... but not my hair.

Isn't that the same prejudice some many people hold against men with long hair? We should be open to women with a shaven head if we expect other people to be tolerate towards men with long hair..
I agree, I like long hair, but I have been involved in the distant past with women who had very short hair, and wouldn't have expected them to grow it.
You said it well. We moan and wail about how longhaired males should be as acceptable to the world as anybody else, but then some of those same people go and berate short-haired women, people that could be considered our "image opposites." If we want freedom to look the way we want, we shouldn't try to take it away from others, particularly those at the other end of the spectrum. That would be hypocritical, and we don't want to be labeled that, do we? Short-haired women are simply women with short hair; their shorter hair does not cause them to be different on its own. And besides, these women probably go through very similar abuse to us longhairs. They don't need any more from us.
I've never asked anyone to *like* the fact that I have long hair, just to put up with it without giving me a load of crap over it. I'm entitled to do the same with women. I personally do not like the shaved head look, or even extremely short hair, on women. If I were single I wouldn't date a woman with hair that short, and if my wife were to cut hers that short I'd be quite upset about it. I wouldn't tell her she couldn't do it, because it's her head, and she can do what she wants with it. I'd express my opinion calmly, and leave it alone after that.

It wasnt aimed to be offensive it was aimmed as my opinion on I think to a female with a Shaved head I know of none !

P.P.P.S. Sinead O'Connor realy pulls off the shaved look. See her 80's music video "Nothing Compares 2 U" for a gorgeious woman who perhaps looks better without hair. That said...
P.P.P.P.S. It is has been my firm opinion for quite a few years that females look better and more attractive with long hair, with waist length being the ideal length in my mind.

I also think long hair would suit her better, but with the short hair, she resonates a kind of mystique to me, a kind of conceptualization of the anatomical human (lol, that was so wordy). It makes you realize that the face can be very beautiful on its own, and perhaps at times hair is just a distraction from the true nature of one's visage. Just my 2 or 3 cents.

While she looks absolutley stunning with long hair, with her head shaved you can the purity of her beauty without it being altered or accentuated by hair.
This causes the seeming paradox that even though I think she looks better with hair, I also think she is more beautiful when her face is uncovered.
Perhaps the solution would be for her to have a ponytail firmly pulled back from her face? (and preferably to waist length!)

I think she looks great there and so too Sinead O'Connor. There is a woman that I see in our town and she has a similar look and its striking, different and very beautiful.

In regards to the women there (generally speaking) how do they keep their hair?
Hair past mid-back or even to that length is not that common in Sydney among girls 18-60 (i.e. the age group that I usually see when walking around town).

I think I drove through Bristol last year.
Seemed like a nice enough place, but we weren't on a city vacation so we didn't stop there. We were staying in Cheddar, which is quite nearby.
The fashion is straight and long, and if they have wavy curly hair then they straighten it . Very few short haired at the present time which is why he short-haired ones stand out.

I'm suspecting some of those guys with stories like that are trolls..I might be wrong though..I just find it weird because to me it's a no-brainer to dump a girl instead of the hair..
