yep 16...american, grew my frizzy hair out from august-may then got it trimmed all around. now i plan to grow it out once again, that pic was taken today. i opted to put gell in it although i do that very rarely, usually it just hangs loose.

welcome aboard, good to see you. Now you got the perfect hair for growing it out (and the perfect face for loooong hair), and my hunch is that it'll all grow well without any further trims. It'll look better and better as time goes by.
Hope no-one gives you any nonsense about your hair - feel free to post questions whenever necessary.
