I just went public for the first time with a half tail.
Quick trip to the grocery store.
It felt so right.
I sure hear you on that one. It DOES feel right and you aren't even aware of it. The long hair is part of you. It only gets easier now to just be yourself. Glad you made that trip to the store.
My dad has never tried to change me (other than the normal chastisements, like catching me the very first time I tried to shoplift -- I took a peanut in the market, and he say, and hit my hand in such a way that the peanut landed right where I grabbed it from). And I haven't tried to change my kids either.
