... my curent aviator pic is a couple of years old so I guess I should request an update change. Am considering one or the other of two pics, and some input would be greatly appreciated.

I really think this photo is more appropriate for an avator as it clearly shows the full length and sheer thickness of your mane. I think your hair looks outstanding, no really, it does.
I love how the roots are grey but the ends are a mix of goldy and blonde colours. Your hair is going to look super wicked at waist length, infact, you are not far from there!
I like the "sleeping Karsten" pics but i think the normal poses of your hair look the best.

Karsten, you are one of those people that were born to have long hair and a beard, that is so uber coooooool, man I hope I look even a fraction as good as you when I get there.
This one looks much more natural; the other seems a bit posed.
Oh for a second i thought you meant your aviator pics as in your glasses.. you know what i mean. as in aviator glasses..
The word you mean is "avatar."
An aviator is someone who flies a plane.

It always gets on my nerves when i see people accidently spell it as "aviator" istead of "avatar". Infact, i think that i myself am guilty of commiting this heinous crime :(

c'est comme j'avais dit dans mon autre post, je t'avais confondu avec Fellow, qui est français. La cause de mon erreur, c'est que vous deux jouissez d'une croissance de cheveux manifique...
Ici, on voit tant des américains qui parlent des langues etrangères, c'est excellent, et ça sert à corriger un préjugé très commun en Europe.

I love your update pictures Karsten, they are always arty and are so much more than just a hair pic - more of an expression of you. Great, great hair by the way!!
It is great to see a front on shot of you Karsten! As it 'almost personalises' uyour long hair. Don't get me wrong, I think your posed 'sleeping' progress shots are fantastic and really show your hair's length, yet we haven't seen your face for a while and how you would look in person...but these pics clear that up and all I can say is: 'Damn!'
I didn't realise your hair was so amzing front and suited you so well.
Just marvelous, and my 2cents is that you use the pictre with your hand hanging/tilted to 1 side. What a shot!

I knew I spelled it wrong ... in fact I first had it as "avaitor" and then correctly as "avatar" and then changed it to "aviator" after doing a spell check. I should have asked you guys how to spell it first before I posted the pics. Thanks for not beating me up too much over it and if I can at least get a passing grade in photography it would help make up for the F in spelling. LOL
