I would also like my avatar changed too
here is the photo I would like to use
Nice kilt. Where's its pouch?
That's not a kilt.... are we doubting our sexuality here?
Unless I'm seriously mistaken, that's a kilt.
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skirt#Men_in_skirts whether it's a kilt may depend on whether the wearer is also wearing underwear.
Anyway, it doesn't look like any kilt I've ever seen.
Wow... ok.. ya learn something new every day! I had no idea!
It strikes me that this phrase could be morphed into a poem of some sort. By the way, I'd never heard of this distinction until I saw this wikipedia page. Somehow I'm skeptical that it's a legitimate criterion for kiltness.
Ron seems supremely confident in his sexuality Torp. I bet wearing a kilt brings up a lot of the same poorly thought out assumptions and ignorant comments just like the ones asked of men with long hair.

i thought kilts were only made of tartan (or is that a pattern?) and are of a certain style
it seems to be a skirt
Kilts can be made of other stuff. And kilts are not in any way 'homo'.
Point:
Great hair as well...
Just checked out their site. They were sounding really good until the frontman opened his mouth. Damn Cooky Monster vocals!
>:(
Hi there,
@Ghasul: I would be happy, if you DON'T use my picture as avatar.
and NO, its not a skirt, it's a kilt.
Homo? not at all! :-) it's the best girls eyecatcher ever! So, if you're man enough, go get yourself a kilt!

Hi Drucocu,
the sentence with the avatar was preceded by colons, i.e. that was not part of Ghasul/Mesmerized's message, but of Ron's original message and his picture. Ghasul/Mesmerized didn't mean to use your picture as an avatar.
- I do think you look absolutely stunning with that kilt, hair, and tattoos, by the way!
I totally agree! Interestingly, all gay men I know are too shy to wear a kilt, while a number of my heterosexual male friends wear them with pride!
Best wishes,
Hans-Uwe
Hi Hans-Uwe!
I've got 2 Utilikilts and I love 'em! In all the times I've worn them [about 5 years], I've never had any negative comments, mostly smiles and a lot of comments from both guys and girls. Long hair and kilts sorta go together nice.
Whenever I play in bands, I usually wear a kilt as long as there's no specific dress code. Sometimes there is, ie. black tux. With this one band, the 'dress code' is a white shirt and black pants. So I wore a white shirt with my black kilt. Everyone in the band liked it!
I'm gay and I've noticed that most of my gay friends are too shy about wearing kilts. They'll say something like, "Oh, I wouldn't wear one. My legs/knees don't look good." My response: "You wear shorts, don't you?" :)

P.S. Kilts don't make you gay. I was gay WAY before I bought the kilts! :)
same here,I was also gay even befor I knew
anything about kilts
Hi Hans-Uwe, and gays and straights and anything inbetween! :-)
oh...now I saw...hahah, I really thought, he want to use my pic, what a shame, hahaha!

Glad to see everything was cleared! I just wanted to show that kilts were cool, and not feminine.
I really look forward to some day seeing you live! It looks to me as if the tourdate in Denmark isn't quite confirmed yet, but it would be really awesome if you would come.
Do you buy your utilikilts straight from the maker? Cause I was hoping there was a place in Europe that also sold them, to save on taxes and shipping.
Yeah, I'm hoping to playing in denmark, I heard the women are beautiful ;-)
You can't get the utilikilts in europe, I always had to buy them direct from utilikilts.com...
I'm also waiting that the leatherkilt will be at a lower price soon, then I'll buy it!
drucocu
he must be a homo but meh, its all good.
Now THAT was uncalled for. There is absolutely NO situation in which the word "homo" can be used and NOT sound derogatory.
How about homo milk? Or, we are all homos because we're members of that genus?
Homo Sapiens?
Erm... oh, yeah... point taken.
just speaking my mind man, i saw his pic and just found it...awkward.
Thats uncalled for he is a well respected man here well by me anyway !
Im Speechless !!!!! But yeah if thats what you want as your Avatar fair enough !
The goatee's looking great as usual, and I can see your hair growing back steadily. Cool outfit too.
for those who are wondering it is a Utilikilt
that I am wearing in the photo
Utilikilts are cool! Nice hair, Ron!

I was just browsing around the utilikilt website and navigated to the leather utilikilt page. Here's the description:
"Why are you even here? The Leather is too much Utilikilt for you. Heck it's too much Utilikilt for men who are twice or perhaps even three times the man you are."
At least it's also too expensive...
I would like a utilikilt, but with the price+shipping+taxes I'm sure it would come to a pretty penny in the end...
Utilikilts are nice, but you're right, they ARE expensive.
If you're looking for something a little easier on the wallet, there's always www.amerikilts.com. Then again, there's still that issue of international shipping... :(
Thanks for letting me know, I'd never heard about those. International shipping is $10 more, according to the site, so that's not so bad.
Now, how to avoid paying import tax...
