It's hard to tell, Mark. The lighting is a bit too dark. What's your natural color, and what color did you dye it?

My natural color is dirty/strawberry blonde..and the dyed color is darkest mahogany brown..
Very little. Dieing hair is not a good idea in any way at all.
uh that's not strictly true...so long as you darken, not lighten and treat it well it shouldn't be any problem

Exactly... I have been dying mine for awhile now and it is PERFECTLY healthy. I did darken it (my natural color is blonde and I dyed it black)
if this is your first attempt, I"m thinking no one mentioned "maintenance" (extra conditioning because dyeing tends to dry the hair, retouching to cover strawberry blonde roots as they grow half-an-inch a month, protection from the sun fading the dark brown to a mixture of lighter tones, etc.)

Hi Mark,
Your picture reminds me of certain depictions of Jesus, i.e. you look divine! ;-)
Did you use a permanent dye or a dye that would fade out over time? Otherwise there's going to be a lot of maintenance dyeing, unless you use one of those dye extractor shampoos.
I wouldn't re-dye it for about three months, and if you want to keep the new color, and are ready to invest time and money regularly, then dye the new growth. If you do get sick of it, then it's time to use those dye-extractor shampoos (probably, it will be wise to have a stylist do it even though it costs quite a bit of money).
In any case, you do look great, the new color really looks quite nice, and, as they say, "Einen schönen Mann kann nichts entstellen" (Nothing can disfigure a handsome man).
Hope you have lots of fun with your new color!

A very cool, dark metal-head/artist look, particularly with the little goatee. The pic's blurriness actually adds to the obscure atmosphere of the picture - to me, the room looks kind of like it's in a gloomy candlelit castle, lol.
As long as the dye isn't causing any haircare issues, I'd say to keep it. It really suits you, IMO.
