Hey guys,
I want to buy some jojoba oil next time i go shopping, ive heard good things about it on this board.
I was wondering where you guys purchase your jojoba oil... would i need to go to a chemist or a salon or is it something i could pick up at the supermarket?
thanks
also, am i looking for 100% jojoba oil, or just products that contain the stuff? im looking to treat my dry hair. and how much does this stuff usually cost?
thanks again
For the 100% virgin jojoba oil doing the typical google search works well. I currently get mine from jojobaking.com. Granted the shipping cost more than a 4 oz. bottle, but it's better than ultra-dry hair.

Hi Jack, (and not hijack... LOL)
I buy jojoba oil and essential oils in a dietetic store. In fact, I've mixed oil of jojoba with grap pips oil + almond oil + essential oil of lavender, thyme, rosemary, cedar and a lemon juice + extract of ginger roots. It increases hair growth (1,3cm/month = 0,5inche before and 1,75cm/month or 0,7inche after treatment) and it's also effective against dandruff.
Lupulus :)
thanks Lupulus! ill definately write out your list and check it all out next time i go shopping. it sounds great.
and judging by your pic its definately working! your hair has that perfect radiant look. its shiny but not at all greasy looking. thats always been my problem, my hair will get nice and shiny a few days after washing but it will start to look a bit greasy if i dont shampoo again. and then it will be too dry after i wash it.
but your hair looks so clean and shiny, i love it! cheers
Jack
i get mine at a health food store. it's "Heather Loraine 100% Pure Golden Expeller Pressed Jojoba Oil" and costs $10.00 for 4 ounces. it would be a bargain at twice the price!!!
