i have a few quick questions.
whats wrong with split ends besides the fact that they look bad?
how quickly do htey travel? i ask becuase i probably need to do a full trim of a few centremeters but i cant really do it becuase as soon as i get into a hairdresser the parents will push the haircut thing
Some people notice the split ends creating tangles since the ends splay out so no longer slide against each other well. They may look bad when seen close up but people looking at you won't see them so unless you are getting more tangles than usual leaving them alone is fine. The splits go up some and eventually break off on their own, you won't have half-hairs split all the way up to the scalp. If the splits are creating problems for you the hairs can be trimmed one strand at a time chosing only splayed ended ones to cut, kinda laborious but it works and keeps you out of the barber shop.
