well i went to the hairdressers to get a trim but they had gavin me more than a trim and now i dont really have long hair anymore , i wanna grow it back to its previos state and was wondering if there was any natural ways of growing it quicker?
Not another one of these cases. What is wrong with these hairdressers? I'm sorry to hear of this. I've not had a trim yet but I've heard so many of these stories I'm panic-stricken about doing it some day. I'm gonna make sure I can trust whoever does it.
Sadly, there really isn't any way of growing it quicker. Diet will affect the quality of growth, but not the speed.
I hope the next time you want a trim you'll get someone you are sure you can trust. It's a shame so many of them obviously can't be trusted.

I went through a period getting haircuts that lasted several years during which I'd go in for a "trim" every 2 months or so and be unhappy with the result--the woman who I always went to cut too much off and there would be about 6 weeks before it got long enough to be looking okay again. Then there would be a few weeks of good hair before the cycle repeated. One day I suddenly realized the problem was communication--her idea of "trim" was different from mine. I made a mental note to go in next time and really micromanage my haircut--half inch here, half inch off there...specific instructions, then watch, ready to yell something and pull my head away if she began to buzz too much.
The result was way better and my hair started getting longer which resulted in me eventually deciding to let it grow out. Anyway, i just wanted to mention that I found that I really had to communicate exactly what I wanted--precise lengths taken off and where, then watch. Saying I wanted a trim was too vague and allowed her to do her own interpretation of a trim.
Of course now that it's happened it's too late so the only thing you have to do now is nothing and let it grow. It's kind of cool that growing hair is one of the few things where you accomplish something by doing less.
I met one longhair guy from New York and asked him about getting trims and not end up with a haircut, he said that there are hairdressers around Taiwan that are gay, and they are the best people to go to for men with longhair that wants a trim. However I think im going to grow it enough that by the time I want a trim I would be able to do it myself.
Hairdressers don't seemed to have grasped the very basic concepts that (a) the less hair they cut off the more frequently you have to spend money in their salons and (b) angry customers don't come back
I feel for you here.
I think it would not be unreasonable to not only demand a refund for that, but also demand some kind of compensation.
Alas, I have read through the years countless times of guys going in for their "trim" and ending butchered. Strange thing is after their hair grows out some, quite a few go in for another trim. Nobody seems to get anything but grief.
It is just so easy to obtain long hair..........just let it grow and stay away from hairdressers or Barber Shopps for at least the first couple of years.
No way to have your hair grow-back quicker unfortunately. The "average" amount of growth is 1/2" per months or 6" in a year.
Just a point of view if i was give something I didnt want I would have refused to pay !
Sorry to hear that happened; that's why I go to a good salon, as opposed to a first come first serve shop. A better shop is more willing to take more time with you and they will cut little at time until you are satisfied. As for growing it back, the only thing unfortunately, is time.
Bangs head in frustration at lack of facility which protects your name from being used by someone else...
You should never use the word 'trim', and always specify an amount to be taken off that is between 1/2 and 1/4 of what you really want. Most people learn this the hard way, unfortunately.
Just a suggestion: Maybe next time you should grow your hair longer than you want it, then ask for a trim and also specify to the stylist that you want your hair to remain long.
