Hey Randy, your hair is looking good. It is so good that you have kept it long even though it is a bit thin on top.
I just realise something else, you are incredibly tall. My calculation is 7"1". I am basing that on observation, the top of your head is about one inch above the doorway, and most entry ways have a 4" step. Even without the step in the entry way, you would still be 6'9" tall.
Absalom
well, you're close. i'm 6'8". thanks for the kind words!!
Randy...good pictures...we have very similar hair...I keep mine "trimmed" at about your length. I have had long hair for over ten years but do not like it much longer than yours. Is your hair naturally curly? Great color too. Congratulations on the five year anniversary.
thanks--yes, my hair is very wavy/curly. this was one of my rare occasions of blow drying to straighten it.
Nice! I like the wave in it. It looks good.
thanks!!
Don't ya just love those good hair days? 8^)

nice hair and goatee you have
Looks really great Randy and makes you look ever so distinguished! :-)
Looking mighty wonderful, Randy!

Congratulations, it looks great, and keep growing!
Love the pics, Randy. Beautiful color and great texture.
And I meant to say your tattoos are very cool, too!
Thanks for posting the pictures. They all are excellent and a fine example of well grown and well taken care of hair. The blond colour is excellent. Your height hides the length it seems. I am a few years younger than you but have the same situation going on up top. I have relegated myself however to the fact that it is of not any worry to me, as I'm sure you have. Just thankful for what I have.
Now this is 5 years of growing hair with some trims along the way, no?
The tattoos are very cool as well. I have always wanted to get one but I can't make a decision to what it would be! :-)>
thanks for the encouragement, Bragi. for the first 3 years (until i discovered this board) i really abused my hair with too frequent colorings/trims, etc. in the past 2 years, however, i've had only 2 split end trims and 2 colorings. i've also been using Rogaine which has slowed the thinning down considerably!
and don't give up on the tattoo idea--the great thing about tattoos is there's always the next one. i have 18 so far...
Looks great. I'm curious about something. How do you get yours to lay back as well as it appears to be doing? I would love to be able to get mine to stay back away from my face while it's down as well as yours appears to be doing. Did you use some type of styling product to get it to stay combed back that way?
Jim
i've been blessed with very manageable hair, maybe because it's coarse. anyway, it tends to stay put whichever way i comb it.
after shampooing (once a week), i just use a little gel, and jojoba oil the other days.
