Just got back yesterday from a great weekend trip to Montreal for the Formula 1 races.I traveled up with three other race fans and also got to do some sightseeing as well.I find the city to be very interesting and did notice quite a few longhaired guys there too! Also interesting was listening to the locals speaking French which certainly I don't hear back home. All in all we had a great time and look forward to going back next year for the races.I'm including a pic of me at a scenic overlook above downtown Montreal which I thought was a cool shot.I believe we have a couple memebers who live in the city but never saw them in my travels. As always vacations just go by too fast.Mark
next time you come to montreal....come in quebec city
it is the oldest city in america
my city is 398 yeard old
i am not a longhair but a real longhair lover
Salut, Yves,
si tu aimes des cheveux longs, tu les peux laisser croître et célébrer le 400ème anniversaire de Québec avec une coiffure manifique ;-)

Il faut qu'il commence aussi tôt que possible... il ne lui reste que deux ans (ou moins)!

I'll have to look that up as it sounds like great city.Glad you like long hair as I love it too as I'm sure you can tell!!Thanks for the info.Mark
Haven't I seen a guy like that one at a race before? Keep it growing!
Hey!You never know!!!LOL.Mark
Great picture Mark!

Thanks Oren as at least my pic didn't break the camera!LOL.Mark
Looks like you had a good time. Hair looks great of course. Formula 1 is so fun. I have not kept up with it this year like I usually do, but usually cheer for Kimi Raikonnen. I am amazed how they can turn 14K-15K RPM, and those engines hold together! I start getting nervous with a 7600 chip in a Chevy.
Well, are you headed to Indianapolis this weekend?
Hi Bragi and that was a good one about the Chevy LOL.Yea I just started getting into F1 racing as I'm a long time Nascar fan but it is nice to follow other forms of racing.I would love to head to Indy for this weeks race but I can only take so much time off and it does start getting expensive.I have been to Indy for the Brickyard 400 years ago as it is a really nice facility.Anyway thanks for the comments on my hair as I look forward to more length.Take care.Mark
Hello,
I am glad you enjoyed Montreal for the Grand Prix. It was a combined holliday for the Grand Prix was on the St-Jean Baptiste long weekend, and the weather was fantastic.
I took a long walk, in the old port, then up St Denis Street to Mount Royal on Friday, and really enjoyed see a lot of longhairs.
Hi Georges.Yea there did seem to be a lot going on last weekend besides the race.Mostly spent time on the "island" and old Montreal as well as Peel.I guess I missed you by two days as if I recall correctly that pic of me was taken on Sunday at Mount Royal but I just don't remember for sure if that was its name. And yes the weather over the weekend was fabulous. Thanks for your comments.Mark
Glad you enjoyed your trip, sure sounds like a lot of fun. Formula 1 is a lot more fun to watch than racing in an oval!
Your pic is great, its nice to see how long your hair really is since I cant tell from your avatar. Looks like a great day!
I cant wait for the next "on location" lol
Hi Chris and thank you for the comments. As a longtime Nascar "oval track" fan it is cool to see an F1 race on a road course.Expanding my horizons I suppose.LOL.Montreal is such a nice city but I imagine the winters must be brutal.Glad the pic better represents my length as you would look so cool with this much hair since we both have the good ole straight hair!Hope to catch you again on the board.Take care Chris.Mark
Wow I didn't realise your hair was that long, its really great.
Glad you had a good trip, I've always wanted to visit Canada - maybe one day. I have relatives in Edmonton.
