I think some japanese politicians and CEO's have long hair. They are VERY popular there.
Nandor Tanczos of New Zealand. He recently lost an election I believe, but used to be a member of New Zealand's Green Party.
How about Swartzeneggar when he was in "Conan," does that count?

Here is a link to Radio-Canada's article on a new energy policy in Québec (in French), but you will see the head of Greenpeace Québec Stéphane Guilbeault, in a suit with a very long ponytail. Stéphane Guilbeault is a lobbyist as well and mixes with people in high positions to express his views.
I remember in the eighties when the trend for environmentalist lobbyists was to cut their hair and look "straight", while deep inside espousing their cause. Today, it is ok to keep your long hair, and fight for the planet's future. I think Stephen Guilbeault has lots of credibility the way he looks.

Looking about for a photo Wikipedia provided not only that but a fun reputed quote of his- "A lot of senators are so worried about convention and how they look that they wouldn't let their hair down if they had any."

Yeh exactly what I was going to say.. It's because he is american indian, he gets to keep his hair. I doubt that a white guy would be allowed to keep his hair if he had it long..
What is really odd here is they describe him as having
long waist lenght hair. But then the pictures seem to
have shoulder lenght hair.

As far as long haired Male politicians the most famous would
be John Kerry in the 70s.
I was doing a search on the web, the longest pictures i could
find showed this guy with shoulder length hair, although reports
frequently mention he has waist length hair.
One report says he only cuts his hair when he is arrested.
