Time for the July update.
Up untill now I have never been interested in any type of hair styles other than just hanging loose. In fact I really dont like how braids and ponytails and other similar styles look on guys OR girls...no offense to anyone but thats just me.
Anyways I tried out a half tail today just to see what it'd look like and I was surprised by actually liking it. It also keeps hair off my face during these hot summer months. What do you guys think?

I wish I can tie a half tail that looks as good as yours. My full tail is already a little thin and a half tail is so small that I have to wrap the tie 4 times to get it to hold. Plus its so small and short. I guess I need more time...
I think it looks great! And I also think you should wear it this way whenever you desire not only because you like it, but it is such a unique look that you pull off with class.
You really have nice hair, and it's a great photo. That look is outstanding on you, seriously. You don't like hair that is tied back, and most of the time I am with you on that but tieing is very practical, especially when active outdoors or on a windy day, and is part of good maintenance.
If you have doubts about going out with that style, wear a soccer jersey, maybe one of a player that has a similar style. People will think you're a fan of that player - it definitely works that way when I wear my Brazil "Ronaldinho" jersey in Korea.

that's a great half-tail, it suits you well, and it is very practical. You got phantastic hair, and it's good for any style you ever like! (Here's a warning: Tastes change and broaden over time, i.e. in a year, you might find yourself liking more styles than today ;-)
One curious question (or did I miss that post?): How did the no-shampoo period at the Carolina Coast go?

Looks pretty cool, dude. It seems to go with your surfer-sorta image. I guess it's the perfect compromise for your dislike of tied-back hair.
