i have very big curls with my hair and it tends to look very messy, i wash it about every 3 or 4 days and condition and usually just comb it out. should i start using a spray gel or anything like that? suggestions would be cool. sorry for the strange small person next to me.
To me, your hair looks absolutely fantastic!
I will say no more and hope 80's Metal sees and responds. He will give you great "expert advice" as well as some others who have hair a bit similar to yours.
I'll second that - your hair looks super! How long have you been growing it out for?
As Justin says 80's should be able to assist you with this.

You're complaining about THAT?!
On the contrary, it looks terrific!
I shampoo and condition while washing, and then, after towel-drying, spritz leave-in conditioner and finger-comb my hair to disperse the conditioner.
Au contraire dude, your hair looks pretty cool and clean in the pic, although maybe that was a good hair day?
My suggestions would be to only comb your hair gently when it's wet (if you're doing it dry), and not to really comb it out too much; excessive brushing/combing causes a lot of frizz, and you don't want to comb all the curl out of your hair, do you? It gives your hair character.
My other suggestion is to try cutting down on washing your hair, like trying every 5 days instead of 3 -4, stuff like that. See if this helps. If you're going for gel/leave-in conditioner instead, try something non-alcoholic so it won't dry out your hair too much, and perhaps something anti-frizz. I use Suave Anti-frizz Aloe Vera gel for this purpose. It's not perfect, but it does the job. I think gel works best on wet/damp hair.

LOL. His silly little grin doesn't help his strange smallness much.
Hi Robert,
your hair looks great, and your little admirer (a future longhair?) seems to agree. You can try some anti-frizz gel and finger-comb that through.
Keep flying that flag forever!

Yeah, I think everyone else had good advice, but you're hair looks awesome.
Your hair looks great...curls and all. Just keep it well conditioned, and it will be fine.
How long do you want to grow your hair out?
Brad
Your hair looks good.
How long have you been growing?
I have no extra advice to offer you, i mirror everything that "Fallen Angels" has already said, take his advice wisely.
Awwww...leave the little 'nerd' alone!
Your hair looks fantastic, its got that classic early David Coverdale look.
My hair has a little tighter curl than yours, and had tons of frizz before my dreads.
Aloe gel worked pretty good. . .healthier than normal gels and helps to tame the frizzies.
