As you can see, the upper part of my hair looks pretty good, but the ends are quite ratty/dry, i also deep conditioned my hair today, so i don't have almost any tangles right now..
but how many inches/centimeters should i cut, would 1 or 1,20 inches be enough, watcha think?:)
Cheers!!
Just tell the person cutting your hair to remove the dead & split ends thats all it will feel alot better after ok
Axel
Just keep growing it.

Whilst I would neve normally advocate any trims I do think that you would feel and look better with about 1" off the shortest. That would get ride of the thin ends and allow the bulk to catch up.
Hi,
I'd not trim at all, but use some greasy pommade or some anti-split-ends-gel (a clear oily liquid consisting of dimethicone and cyclomethicone and not much else) for the dry ends.
If you still want to trim, I'd tell the hair stylist not to cut any more than one cm all the way around at the bottom. DON'T get the upper / shorter layers cut. He/she will then cut 2-3 cm, the ends would probably feel a bit "healthier", and you'd lose no more than about 2 months of growth.
Your hair is great, grow it forever! If you don't like the color any more, just grow it out. With a bit of luck, some of it will fade over time even if it was a "permanent" dye, and it's not bad at all.
Dit hår se fantastisk ut!
Good luck!
hmmm, i wonder if brylcreeme would be good for dry ends, cause i often use that when i do a slicked-back ponytail.
but i also use Loreals Anti-Split ends Leave-in treatment once in a while, the hair feels alot less dry after that..
I'd give it a try, as everyone's hair reacts in a slightly different way. If it gets better, stick to it. If it makes it drier, avoid it, or, at least, keep the ends free of it.
If it works, you are doing the right thing.
Good luck, and happy growth!

I'd say around 1 - 2 inches off.
And congratulations on deciding to keep your hair! From your last post, I thought you were pretty decided on cutting it...
I'd recommend some jojoba oil. I bought some about a month ago, because the ends of my hair was bothering me and I was tempted to get a trim, thinking I had split ends or something. Basically, they just tangled alot and felt dry.
I used the jojoba oil for about a week and haven't used it since. My hair feels great now, like the oils are properly spread down towards the ends and everything.
