Jeez, this board moves so fast! I can't look in every day and when I do I like to look at all the new pics....
simpa88: Glad to hear you've decided to continue to grow - it seems a shame to quit at this stage and surely you can have the best of both worlds when it gets a bit longer by having a pony tail but not pulling the hair back too tight and using a bit of product to create the Johnny Cash look from the front.
red tail wolf: shocking to hear that people feel they can insult a total stranger like that! All I can say is that reading your post makes me feel sure that I would speak up in defence of a longhair if I was around a situation like that. Your hair is wonderful! People are not!
ummagumma: Really annoyed to have missed the half-tail photo - I bet it looked fab. Possibly my favourite style on a guy.
stevenova: Somewhat OK? Somewhat GREAT more like! Congrats on managing to do it on such long hair! If you find the sections are uneven you can split a bit off a thicker section to beef up a thin one at any stage - it's a good way to braid right to the end when one of your sections is petering out and the others still have some way to go.
justin: Can't believe you haven't braided yet!! Your hair is PERFECT for it and will look stunning. Tangling can be a problem but persevere and you will crack it! Easiest is to get someone else to do it, lol, but you could try my method which is to braid a good six inches or so "blind" behind your back, hold it firm with one hand and tip your head to the side allowing you to brush out the lengths of your hair again, or separate the sections again with your fingers or a tail comb. Continue braiding and stopping every so often to brush or separate out as you go. Brushing will keep it neater. I suggest doing the first six inches behind your back before bringing it to the side if you want it to lie down your back - if you bring it forward (to save arm-ache) too quickly it will want to sit forward (which I think looks cool, but I find men tend to want their braids to stay at the back). With hair as long as yours, moving the braid from one side to the other as you do it will keep it inclined to stay back. Oh, and how amazing is it going to look when you let it down again and it's all wavy?!?!? Get braiding NOW!
charles: Well, I suspect that women that don't like men with long hair are scared of their men outshining them in the hair stakes, lol. As any woman who doesn't like men with long hair what they think of Johnny Depp....
zennyboy: Well done on the brave move to have extensions - I've often wondered why more men don't do this (apart from the expense of course!). After all, it's quite a common thing these days; perhaps it will catch on among men the way perming did in the 70s.
I hope this link helps.

Cheers for that - it makes it a bit easier to scroll down to where I left off from last time.
Thanks!
