I have course thick hair.... but i wanna grow it out on length...any suggestions on how to make it soft and thin??
Stick with what you have. Thin hair isn't all that great when you grow it out. For coarse hair, you might just need to use a conditioner or something (I don't really use them, but I probably should), but thickness is a good thing. It means there's a smaller chance of it getting torn or pulled out.
Why would you want your hair to be thin? Thick hair might be a bit harger to grow out, but in my opinion it is better in the end. There is nothing wrong with thin hair of course, but if your hair is naturaly thick you should be thankful. As far as making your hair soft goes, well the only thing I can think to say about that is take good care of it, try not to over shampoo it, and make sure to use conditioner whenever you do use shampoo. My hair is rather thick and I tend to wash it every 3 days or so with shampoo and conditioner, and every day with plain water. But of course washing routines vary from person to person. It is usualy recomended to experiment with it, and do what works best for you. Good luck.
