Is anyone here going to see EMPEROR at BB Kings in Manhattan next week?? I'll be heading all the way to New York City by bus next thursday just to see this band play their 2 shows at BB Kings. I haven't been to NY for many many years, and I'm a tad nervous, but I'm just going for the experience of seeing my favorite band play this rare live show. I'm entirely confident there will be scores of long haired black metal fans there... If anyone here is going, and you spot me, feel free to give a shout!

Aah, the show is finally here. I know how much you're looking forward to seeing and meeting these guys. I'd say 'have fun' but that's a moot point, haha. It'll be a crazy atmosphere with their status and the rarity of live shows now.

Hi Ardroth long time since I've seen you around here.Anyway at least your back and thats all that matters.Anyway since you mentioned BB kings in NYC, which I've been to several times before,I looked up the dates for that show.Their website indicated next Thursday and Friday which obviuously you know.I don't know much about Emperor but I'm always open to check out new bands.If possible I'll try and make one of those dates and will let you know if I will be there as it would be great to meet you.You'll love the city and hopefully the weather will be nice for the trip down.Have a great day!Mark

I'm still in two minds about going to the Emperor gig in LA. $50-$100 tickets and the venue (the Key Club) are bad enough, it sucks that the opening band is Goatwhore.
Though, it WILL be awesome to hear those early hymns live.

I think you should be safe enough as Juliani cleaned up alot of NTV several years ago.
I'm looking forward to see them play at Wacken in less than a months time.

I guess I should get the Emperial Live Ceremony at some point and make do with that.

I hope you enjoy the shows. I flew to Oslo Norway this past April to see them as part of the Inferno Festival. Great overrall Festival and very friendly people in Norway!!
