It's been a while so I thought it was about time I'd show you some of my progress so far. I have been thinking about trimming it since it's beginning to look a bit messy and dry. I currently use some cheap conditioner a couple of times a week and just a regular combined shampoo and body soap. And all the exhaust fumes and windy conditions at the airport where I work doesn't seem to be the ideal enviroment for yourself, including your hair, if you plan to live long and healthy (he he).
As for the thoughts of feminity connected to lenght of hair I posted before I don't worry too much about that anymore. Maybe it's because of my beard, I don't know, people of both sexes don't pay much attention to it as it is now. At the airport, I get nicknames like rocker, hippie or drugaddict. But it's more of joking around it and most people don't have anything against it.

Your hair looks excellent both ponytailed and down, and it's grown a bit since your last update. It seems you have as well; I remember when the femininity issue was really biting at you. I'm glad it's resolved - even though you have a bit of an adrogynous face, your beard should clear up anybody's questions. It's just ignorance if it doesn't.
Keep up the good work!
Peace
Looks Great. Keep Going!
Hi Metal-Swede,
you look great, and the hair suits you, the longer, the better. I think there's a bit of a similarity between you and Mesmerized from Denmark. In my opinion, neither of you has a particularly "androgynous" face - with or without beard. Nevertheless, the beard looks cool as well, so, why don't you let it grow along with your hair, independently of gender questions.
Some general thoughts came to my mind: While we all have our sexual identity, it seems to be a question of maturity for a man to integrate "feminine" personality traits, and for a woman to integrate "masculine" traits into their respective personalities along with the principal gender identity. Therefore, I'd even see it as a compliment if someone acknowledges that I also integrate "feminine" aspects into my male personality. (I know, certain brands of gender-insecure "rednecks" will be utterly incapable of grasping this, hence they elevate 1880's/1950's-type short-hairedness into a dogma, or, more precisely, into a mantra. A certain guy from a notorious site comes to mind...)
I just noticed that you are from the north of Sweden - so you might possibly know Simpa88 from Kiruna (on the other hand, I know of course that even the northern part of Sweden is too big for that to happen by chance ;-)
Best wishes!

Nope, don't know him. But maybe I´ll meet him sometime, it's a small world after all ;)
The beard certainly looks great and if that helped any other aspect of your life then that is even better. The hair looks great too. I really like wavy hair and wish mine had a little bit of life to it too :)
Great progress, the tail looks good too.
Tusen! Mycket jätte-fin. Skaggen är bra.
Hej då, Bragi
Looking good, metal! Face, hair and beard all compliment one another very well. Thanks for posting!

Definately, heavy metal, great look.
Great hair man!! By the way, i'm also from Sweden, Kiruna.
What's the name of the airport you´re working?:)

Tackar tackar. Jo, såg det. :) I work at the Arlanda airport in Märsta, outside of Stockholm. If you ever happen take a flight with KLM, Air france, Continental, US airlines, Iran air, Turkish air, Syrian air and more; you might just see me swetting in action before take-off or landing. Usually wear my hair in a tail keeping my bangs out of my face with the earprotectors. Quite convinient actually lol! Annars pluggar jag i Lule
