hey everyone! I'm just home from my vacation in England (mostly Wales) and I'm just checking in to say hi right now. I was gone for nigh on two weeks. Here's a couple of pics that was taken of me on the trip:
This one is in Oxford:
And here's one from the summit of Mount Snowdon:
I'm headed off to bed now, but I just wanted to say cheers everyone!
Looks like you had a good time! I'd like to visit mount snowdon, i wouldn't go to oxford, because i live there myself :P.
The hair looks good!
Yeah, I did. And that's understandable man! I never understand it when I meet people abroad and they want to visit where I live. I want to get away to other places :)
Thanks mate!
Hi Stefan,
glad you had a great vacation - and your hair looks more and more impressive! Mount Snowdon with you and your hair is a phantastic combination...
Thanks for posting!
Hans-Uwe
P.S. Time for me to go to sleep, too (almost 1:00 AM here)
Thank you very much! Dare I say that I think the mountain is the more fantastic? :)
Very nice pics, the Mount Snowdon one really has quite a spectacular view. Welcome back!
Thanks, and yes it certainly does. I've never been on a 'proper' mountain before :)
Looks like you had a good time over here then..:-)
John.B
Definitely! The UK is a great vacationing place. I would like to visit Scotland sometime as well.
Hej, Stefan!
Glad you had a good and fun vacation in Wales.
Glad too you made it back safely to the land of the Danes.
Good update. Your hair is getting sooo long now!
See ya later, Bragi
Hej hej :)
Thanks!
Well, that was on a hanging hair. The last night I stayed in Stow-On-The-Wold and just needed to get from there to the airport. On the way there there were two accidents and one planned roadworks going on, so it was on a hanging hair that we made the check-in.
Ta!
Mesmerizing hair... and mesmerizing T shirt too... I think I need a 12 step program to cure me...
Thank you! And there's just one step to those t-shirts: METAL! :)
Wow! Just amazing. Fantastic scenery and super fantastic hair progress. Every time you post an update it just keeps getting better and better. Someday I may be afraid to click on an update for fear that the screen may blow-up! LOL
Your long hair is looking truly sensational.
Thank you! I think the scenery is great, but I would have prefered not to look as if I either have the sun or the wind straight into my eyes :)
Great hair and great pics. Do they still have that funny little train that goes to the top of mount Snowdon? (I've not been there since 1969 so things might've changed!)
Thanks man!
And yeah, they do. I too the train back and forth. I really would have loved to take the walk, one of the ways or both, but I was with my family and my mum has trouble with her leg, so that was unfortunately out of the question...
Great photo of Mount Snowdon, I must take a trip there myself some day - shouldnt be too hard since I live in England. Oxford is a marvelous place too, visited there myself a few years back whilst going to Stratford-upon-Avon.
Now I cant forget to comment on the hair! Great progress, I hope you continue to grow it for a very long time!
Mogh
Yeah, it's a very nice place. The great thing about the UK is that it's so diverse. It's a different vacation depending on where you go... London, Oxford, Wales, Scotland, etc.
Thanks very much!
Hi Stefan glad you had a great time on your trip.We all need to get away from time to time.Hopefully someday I can travel abroad to see more of the world.Anyway the hair is looking great and as I can see the wind is doing a number on it but that goes with the territory.LOL. By the way I like those black cargo pants your wearing.Who makes them and where did you buy them as I can't seem to find them here by me in the US?Maybe I'm looking in the wrong stores.LOL.Well anyway glad you made it back and you had fun!Mark
Thanks man! It was very great to get away for a time, from work and everything. I just don't want to go back to work now :)
Good thing about Europe is that some planetickets are just ridiculously cheap, for instance flying to London.
About the pants, I've no idea who makes them, I just looked and there's no labels on them anywhere, except to say what fabric they're made of.
I bought them in Camden in London, in one of the shops in their marketplace, sometime last year. Sorry I can't be of more help
Thanks Stefan for trying to look up some info on the cargo pants as I do appreciate it.They are kind of cool though as I like them alot.I'll try and look around the web to see If I can come up with something.Have a great day!!Mark
No problem! Maybe you could ask John, he might know as he's more frequently in London than I am. I think if I was in Camden right now, I could find the shop, but that's still no help :)
If my memory isn't failing me, they were sold as combat gear, so I assume that means it's a non-camo version of a pair of military pants. Maybe you could search for a military surplus store, and see if they can be of help?
Cheers to you!
Hope you had a great trip.
Oxford is a haven of academia in my book and that mountain shot is superb!
Thank you, sure did!
Oxford is a lovely town. Although I've been out of the educational system for some time, I'm looking to get in. May go to university and study English. If I do, I'd love to spent some of the time in Oxford.
Gee Like your first picture as you got your combat trousers on in that as I prefer wearing combat trousers myself to Jeans hair looks great to
Axel
Thanks, yeah they're rather comfortable. Well, they're not right now, but neither are jeans. Shorts is the thing at the moment.
I also like the fact that the colour doesn't fade as it does in black denim.
Hi Stefan, your hair is looking good. I am sure it has been quite a challenge growing it, due to its fine curly texture. The windy mountain photo reminds me of my hair. I have a lot of loose flyaway hair strands, despite having hair over 1 meter long. Flyaway hair strands will always occur because new growth is always going on. They are your replacements for hairs that have shed. Keep growing it. Hope you enjoyed your trip.
Absalom
Thanks absolom! Those new hairs are sure annoying, but I'm glad they're there cause otherwise it wouldn't bode well :)
During the trip I actually thought of getting some pins to hold the new ones that don't fit in a pony. Didn't get around to it, though.
Awesome trip, I truly love England. For me I 'home' (in a big sense) is both Scandinavia and the UK.
If you like those mountainous type areas, maybe take a look at the Lake District next time, I spent a week there in june and it is amazing.
Hair is looking fantastic by the way!!
Lake District, I'll keep that in mind. We've talked about it before, but it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully in the future.
And I do love mountains, we also stayed in a small hamlet called Llandeusant, which consisted of the youth hostel, a church and a farmhouse. It was right slap in the middle of the black mountains of Wales.
Thank you :)
Great photos, man - I really like the second one.

Thanks!
