Hey where's 80s Metal been lately? Did he keep his hair or cut it?

As dedicated to long hair as 80s is I would probably cut my hair
out of shock if 80s has actually cut his. 99.9999999999% unlikely.
I guess he's just busy.
Or we are just a bunch of slackers ;)
Or both.
Remembering his posts, I'd say he's just very busy with his studies, and he's certainly 1000% committed as far as his hair goes. I'm sure we'll hear from him when the time is right :-)

It's funny how you come to such a quick conclusion that i cut my hair off just because i haven't been posting regulary lately. Did you ever think that i might be still reading posts and skimming through messages but not actually posting or composing messages?
I have been busy lately and hair is not a top priority for me right now. Also, when you have to look after a sick parent you will understand what that involves. I don't want to get into the details but i have enough stress and worrying at the moment. My hair will not be prioritised when i have more urgent and important things in my life. Otherwise, it makes me look vain and selfish. I don't wish to discuss my personal matters any further on this board.
I'm not attacking you Buddy, but you should think before you start creating your own conclusions about others based on your limited observations - that being my infrequent postings of late.
First off Buddy was just asking after you, this is a community after all and when somebody who is normally around a lot goes "missing" for awhile, people do wonder what happened (including myself). I think you should be pleased that people care about you and not jump all over them for their interest. How about a little "thanks for your concern" in reply instead of a tirade.
Second, it is not like he inadvertantly started a rumor you cut your hair, he just asked a question. How can you confuse a genuine question with an assumption?
Third, you brought up the reason you were not posting (that you were tending a sick parent) in the first place and then say "I don't wish to discuss my personal matters any further on this board." like we were dragging it out of you.
Now I am sure you are going through a terrible time from what you have told us and I certainly am sorry for that, but what do you gain my making nasty comments back to people who care?
No offense 80's, but ChrisG summed everything up very well. You didn't look at Buddy's post logically, and although you may be stressed out and viewing every neutral to non-positive post as heinous at the moment, please take a moment to clear your head and see what's actually going on. Buddy just wants to be your buddy, after all (well, you know what I mean :P), as do we. With that said, I wish you and your family the best of luck, and may the higher powers be with you.

I disagree with Chris, in that when I read Buddy's post, the way he phrased the question 'Did he keep it or cut it' originally struck me as being facetious i.e kinda sarcastic. Then it occured to me (again, at the time) that his comment/question was pretty quick and final considering you hadn't posted only for around 11 days or so..this board isn't a prison and people should be allowed to 'take time off' without that being associated with a haircut.
I meant to say this to Buddy at the time but never got around to it.
In your case however I am very sorry to hear of your situation. If you want to communicate here or via e-mail or even in person please do. If not I completely understand but just know that I wish you all the best in your current situation.

All Buddy did was ask a question...which isn't jumping to a conclusion but an invitaion to be answered. If he had said "I think 80s_Metal has cut his hair and that's the reason he hasn't posted lately" THAT would have been jumping to a conclusion. It sounds to me that he was simply concerned.
Sorry to hear about your situation 80's. I just went through sickness in my family (which they pulled through) and hopefully, everything will work out with yours.

Now I know hed never do that lol he takes to much pride in his hair to cut it of , conditioning & looking after it that his is pride and joy but i did wonder where he was and i do as he does read posts without actually posting myself !
Actually you can learn so much from this guy about your own hair he is a Idol among us long haired guys !

We all have real lives apart from this community here we can't spend all our time on here. Sometimes we have to take a break from things and perhaps for someone that is very positive about their posts on the board, any remarks cut hair cuts in in poor taste!!!
