So we all know who William Wallace is; the famous Scotsman who fought the English, made more famous to us today in "Braveheart".
Well, anyhow, I've been out of my office working in another location all week. I got back today and looked to see if I had any mail or whatever.
My boss (yes, the one who said cut my hair or else) was in Scotland all last week on vacation. He got back this week.
I found a little refrigerator-type magnet on the door the cabinet above my desk. It was a little 2.5 inch high William Wallace holding a shield with Scotland wrote on it. And too, the little William Wallace has a painted face and shoulder/chest length LONG HAIR. Yes, that length I was about to approach by maybe Christmas or so before the trim up.
Do ya' think he's rubbing salt in the wound or just being nice!?
It's a cute little magnet really, I'm going to keep it! :-)
"Nice"...with a touch of guilt.......
(OR...He is suggesting he wants to cut more than just your hair ! Yowch! HA!)
ROFL
sorry... erm... scottish guys rock, Wallace is scotlands national hero and anyone who buys a stuipid trinket like that ahs no idea what he/she is messing with
do not mess with Wallace..
ok pal, threaten yer pal wi me laddie... elhhll sortim oot..
(Asdis is scottish and female and respects Wallace)
He has conceeded.

I visited the William Wallace monument (and climbed all 246 steps to the top!) in Sept 2004. There is a life-size statue of Mel Gibson's portrayal of William Wallace at the base of the monument. Most of the locals think it is atrocious. You probably received a souvenir depiction of that same statue. Elsewhere in the monument, William Wallace is represented quite differently.
I took this picture at a place near Edinburgh castle. It caused quite a stir among some Japanese tourists!
I'd take it as a tribute of a warrior to a warrior, Bragi. Dunno if he meant it that way or not but when in doubt take everything as a compliment.
