Hey, hello, hiya everyone. I was just wondering, exactly how fast
does hair supposedly grow per month? I'd had a "breather" haircut not more than two months ago. I've seen a lot of posts where guys
just want a breather after having grown their hair long FOR a long time.
Well, I'm now looking forward, WITH MUCH ANTICIPATION might I add, to returning my hair to its former magnificent length of almost a foot and a half. But check THIS out . . .
I'm convinced my hair has grown two inches in two months. I kid
you not. So, the question remains. How fast DOES one's hair grow? Has my hair grown more rapidly because it's the summer? Or, are there other factors, e.g. genetic, that might account for my accelerated hair growth?
Looking forward to anyone's response to this ardent query. I've
actually never "timed" its growth before. Thanks everybody!
Hair typically grows 1/2" per month. This is determined mostly by genetics. Although some people may disagree here, I believe that eating a healthy diet, getting proper sleep, and minimizing stress will make your hair grow slightly faster, by maybe 10%.
Here is a good way to find out how fast your hair actually grows. You need to measure your hair right now at a specific point on your head, write down the length, and take a second measurement 6 months later at that same point on your head. I would be very surprised if your hair is 6" longer after 6 months.

My barbor told me a 1/2 an inch per month, but i shaved my head last year and after a year it was 9 1/2 inches.
