It's waist length when wet now. Very close even when it's dry. My hair is just a bit wavy and the water is like a temporary straightener. Roughly 4 1/2 years from a flat-top. I'm not sure how much more I want it to grow from here, if any. Waist length was kind of the goal; but until it stops on its own, or I get a trim that I like, I don't think I've really reached my goal.
WOW!! Now thats some great hair!If I were you I'd leave it alone and toss all the scissors in the circular file!Mark
Great looking waist length hair!
Your ends look thick so i doubt your terminal length will be anything less than butt length. Keep it growing.
You have one nice mane, Steve. It will certainly be waist length when dry very soon. I would suggest going for terminal length. You have gotten good results so far, especially considering that you are fairly tall. I calculated your height to be 6'01/2". (This is a doorway based calculation.)
You have quite a way to grow yet to reach terminal length. From what I see, and considering how long your hair has grown in only 4 1/2 years, you should easily be able to reach classic length and maybe even mid thigh length. Best wishes on your hair journey, whatever you decide.

You're spot-on with the height estimate. I was measured 6'1" when I stopped growing, and was recently measured at 6 even. I'm a bit concerned that poor posture might have made me lose an inch.
Thats an incredible amount of hair Steve! I guess the hardest part is deciding when to stop growing (since you don't seem anywhere near terminal length) it becomes a matter of taste and convenience. Keep growing until you know its too long, then trim it back.
Always a pleasure to see an update of yours, Steve. Pretty soon it will be the same length dry and those handsome waves will be visible.
