I am increasinly finding that the knots that I get in my hair apart from the fluff or lint that is often the culprit often have a disproportionate number of lighter, even blonder hairs as thier source or culprit.
These hairs are also often coarser than their darker or normal coloured brethren.
My hair is generally brown, so i'm finding it all a bit odd.
Any thoughts anyone?
I find the same thing, only it's the grey hair that act differently. As I get older, it becomes more of an issue.

Same with myself.........almost. With me it is the darker hairs which are often more coarse. I don't know why either. Guess I have just become so used to it. One thing however, it appears to have no bearing as of yet in reducing any hair loss because of it. (But then, I always go careful with any knots I may find.) Hope someone has the answer to this question because even I would like to know. Glad you brought this up. Thanks!
