Consider the source. This came off a hair salon news website. Is it any surprise that these people want everyone to be "fashionable"? That way they can make more money selling you a new hairstyle every time some celebrity/fashion leader decides its time for a change.

Salon.com is not related to grooming whatsoever...it is a news & entertainment sight with a left lean to it.
I'm most definitely a left-leaning guy, and I know our ambassador, Mr. Bolton, is not. But the kind of trash-talk in the article is embarrassing and inappropriate. The guy's hair is just fine! I like to think that our precious dichotomy of "left" and "right" can wage its war through discussion of ideas and events; sadly, personal insults always seem to attract the most attention.

I agree! I don't care for Bolton's politics either, but judging his ability to do the job based on his appearance or taste (or lack thereof) in style is an irrelevant jab.
Agreed. I don't like the guy much, but I don't care how he wears his hair. It doesn't affect my opinion of him atall.
I think they should focus on the guy's ideas, not his hair. Although that is a pretty awful haircut.
The lead-in, photo and link was on the "front page" of the On-Line New York Times early Friday Morning.....seems to have disappeared by afternoon though....hmmmmm
And from Salon no less! Nothing irks me quite like a conformist Liberal (in the UK you call them Labor I think, in general, Leftists). Maybe it's because (Far Left)+(Conformist)=Soviet, I'm old enough to remember the Cold War, and my subconscious sees the connection as well as my conscious.
All that aside, it does look like a bad hair piece. That's probably because the moustache is grey. If his beard fades from blonde to grey, he might look better with a beard. He might look better if he slicked it back, and if he makes conformist-Leftists mad with that mop, I'd like to see what a full tail does to them!
So far the only redeeming feature of this heavy footed, bully, culturally insensitive pseudo-diplomat is his hair and moustache -- he cannnot be all bad, but I have seen no other evidence.
