Hi everyone. I'm a short hair, as a matter of fact, and sadly, I just got my hair cut today. #2 clippers on the sides and back and pretty short on top. My question is this. How long will it take to get hair about shoulder length? I'm really wanting to grow some longer hair but am wondering how long.
Now I know that long hair is considered shoulder length or longer, but I felt this was close enough to shoulder length to just get some feedback. This is the length I'm aiming at:

Colin Farrell of course. Again, I really apologize if that length isn't considered long hair. I'm really just curious as to roughly how long it would take to get it to that length from where I am now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hair grows six-eight inches a year on average, so probably that a year.
Hey Bro! I'm also growing my hair out from a "short hair". I'm about 1.5 months into it, and definitley am noticing some growth. I've asked the same question a dozen times, looks like hair grows 6 inches a year. From what I have gathered, the most important thing is to NOT CUT IT. If you cut it, it wont grow (duh!). Hi Jordan, If you look at the last message I Posted, It shows my Hair as it is now, 21 Months after my last cut, and Ive Posted a Pic of me exactly 2 years ago, when I Last had a #2 All Over, So im guessing just under 2 years growth will get quite close ifnot to your Shoulders, Just enjoy each Stage, and beleive me the time will Fly! I was always one of the people who always thought Its gonna take for ever my hair aint growing etc, Good luck and Enjoy \m/ \m/
