Hello all,
I was convinced several months ago that my hair had stopped growing. But man, it has grown. I think I am at 8" past the top of my shoulders. I am beginning to notice the length well too. Like when I sleep, it keeps getting it caught under me. Lately, I have been tailing it when I sleep because it gets so tangled when I wake up. I am very satisfied at the length I am at now, but, I always wonder. How much longer will it continue to grow? I find that I do not shed much hair at all. The only downside, I am very thin on top

It must be a wonderful feeling -- I'm getting there too!
It's possible to calculate the approximate terminal length based on shedding rate. I remember somebody posted a very good table showing that.
I've made some rough, back of the envelope calculations, assuming 100 000 hair strands, normal growth and that the hair doesn't have a genetic limited lifespan or something (I don't know about that). The amount of hair strands at a given length would be around 10 000.
300 cm -- 118 in -- 12 hairs/day
250 cm -- 98 in -- 14 hairs/day
200 cm -- 79 in -- 18 hairs/day
150 cm -- 59 in -- 26 hairs/day
100 cm -- 39 in -- 34 hairs/day
75 cm -- 30 in -- 48 hairs/day
50 cm -- 20 in -- 60 hairs/day
I know exactly what you mean, at times it does appear as though one is making no progress but then you look at a photograph from a few months back and its like WOW! Anyway, keep growing and please post some photos soon!
