my mumms eased up a lot on the complaints about the hair.
she even once told my little cousins shed pay them $100 if they got me to cut my hair. next thing i know there going at me with scissors lol....made me a bit paranoid yunno even tho it was lighthearted.
uhm anyways as i said she eased up on the complaints and only once in the month or so shes stopped nagging has she said "she'd rather me have it cut". I think its becuase after haveing a SECOND trim i got annoyed at my mum and finally told her im not getting it cut off ever ie terminal...i didnt hear anything much sicne then.
and now before she went to bed she pulled my hair back into an attempt at a tail and said "well have to get you some bands soon for your ponytail"....wow lol really great but unexpected since i found out her anti longhair tihng went pretty deep...her dad even wouldent let her watch countdown (a music tv show in the 60's or 70s) becuase there where long haired men on it!!
Great news...........You Won! What a shame this is not the case with so many other guys who desire long hair and are stepped on and not allowed to be themselves.
My mom was also like that. She was very insistent that I get a haircut and kept trying to convince me to let her cut it. Recently she's let up. I think she has finally accepted that I want it long. She might of thought that I wanted short hair and just didn't like getting it cut at first but then I told her my intentions. My dad tried to team up with my Grandma to convince me to get it cut, but they failed! He still doesn't like my decision.
You should have dared them or payed them to shave your mom's head....nice game i see.
